Come enjoy the Washington community, bid on some great items, and raise funds to support important programs and enrichment activities that benefit all children at Washington!

Event Information



Purchase pre-sale tickets for this adults-only event for $20 each. Or, bring an appetizer or dessert to get in for free. Tickets are $25 at the door.

Admission includes catered dinner (including vegetarian options), drinks and cocktails, dancing, photo booth fun, and access to bid on hundreds of items—however bidding is not required to enjoy the festivities.


Reserve childcare for your TK through 5th grade student(s) during the auction. Childcare is held from 5:30-10pm in the Washington cafetorium and staffed by Learns. The party will include dinner and a movie. There were also be “quiet zones” for children who want a more relaxing space to read and hang out. $15 for the first child and $10 for each sibling.

Please note: Childcare will be for children ages 3 and older. Younger children must be fully potty trained and comfortable away from their parents. If you would like to request free childcare, please send an email here with names & ages of your children.


Ed Roberts Campus is located at 3075 Adeline Street in Berkeley, and across the street from Ashby Bart.

Popular items from past fun(d)raisers include: hotel & vacation home stays, restaurant gift certificates, professional services, tickets to special events/activities/museums, and unique & homemade crafty items.


You don’t have to donate “things”—you can host a sign-up party. Parties can be kid-themed or grown-up themed. Decide on a theme or event, the number of adults or kids you would like to host, and a date—we will help with the rest.

Popular parties have included Mom's Game and Cocktail Night, Dinner and Sing Along for adults and kids, Cocktail Tasting, Kids Pizza and Movie Night, Parents' Poker Night, and a Coco-Inspired Play Date. Last year’s parties got rave reviews and raised over $12,500! Contact Linda Carr for more information.


There are many jobs that we need help with the night of the event, from setup and cleanup to food and drink service. Use this volunteer sign up form to lend a hand—even if it’s for a short amount of time. Or, contact Bonnie Mitchell for questions.
