The annual Walk-a-thon will be held on Friday, October 18, from 8:15am-12noon.
Help your child collect pledges from relatives, friends, neighbors, co-workers and others in the community who want to support your child and Washington Elementary School. Students can earn "laps" by walking around the school as many laps as they can.
Our goal this year is to raise $25,000. This fundraiser helps pay for many different enrichment programs and much-needed classroom supplies, community events, field trips, and so much more.
HOW TO GET PLEDGES
Sponsors may donate a fixed amount ($10, $25, $100) or make a pledge per lap (50¢ per lap, $1 per lap, $5 per lap). No pledge is too small! Younger children may do as few as 5 laps and 4th/5th graders have been known to walk more than 30!
Please reach out to family and friends to support your student and Washington School. Send an email, post to social media, help your child make calls and knock on doors of friendly neighbors. People love to support kids and public schools, all you need to do is ask!

In person: Students can record donors’ names on the pledge envelope. Donations are tax deductible; use the PTA's tax ID# 94-6174706. Checks can be written to Washington PTA. Turn in pledges to your classroom by November 6th.
